The AFL is the professional league for Australian Rules Football, commonly known as Aussie Rules. Headquartered in Melbourne, 18 teams compete under the AFL banner across 5 of the 6 Australian states, Victoria, NSW, Queensland, and Western Australia. The AFL season runs from March to September with a 23-round regular season. AFL is popular across Australia and is increasing in popularity in Europe, Asia, and the USA.
An AFL game is played over four 20-minute quarters plus injury time, known as time on. The game starts when the umpire bounces the ball in the center circle, the players then contest for possession. Each team has 18 players on the field during match time, and they have another four players on the bench ready for substitution.
The field is usually a modified cricket field with four posts at either end of the area. A goal is scored when a player kicks the ball through the posts. A player will score one point when kicking the ball through the outer posts and six points if they score between the two middle posts.
When the ball is in play, the attacking team can run with the ball, kick it, or handball it to a teammate, and the defending team can steal possession by intercepting a pass. The players can also stop field progression by tackling another player. Ultimately, the goal is to score more points than the opposition by the end of regulation time to win the match.

My team and I gain our edge from astute knowledge, data analysis, and situational expertise when giving AFL betting advice. Everybody has data in sports; we know how to interpret it and understand changes within teams, players, and organizations in real-time before the market does. We line up all our own games, and our long-term performance proves that we price markets more accurately than bookmakers, which opens betting opportunities for us. When we send early picks, you will see them often beat Closing Line, and we've consistently beaten the market even in pre-game betting before the bounce. We promise long-term profitability that exceeds any other investment class over time.

I have been betting at a professional level for the past 20 years and this has led to me being loved by punters and feared by bookies across the country. I have a deep-seated love of the game of football which spans back to my playing days as a teenager and young adult. A combination of this along with a finance and data analytics background is what allows me make consistent returns on the sport and be respected as one of the best AFL judges in the betting community. One of the main drivers for joining Tip Titans was my desire to not only help both recreational and pro punters make money but also educate them along the way. My game ratings have consistently outperformed the market and I'm looking forward to giving public access to these ratings for the first time. I use a combination of a player / raw data model along with meticulous tape review to offer one of the most detailed and high performing services available on the market. My service performed at 13.9% POT last year and has averaged 16.5% POT over the last three years. I strive to improve my service numbers each year and this season will be no different In my spare time I enjoy golf, poker, fine dining and red wine and spending any time not crunching numbers with family & friends. I'm looking forward to being a part of your team at Tip Titans.

After graduating from university with a business degree, I worked in golf management and real estate regulation. However, I found these jobs were getting in the way of my true passion: racing and sports betting. Growing up, AFL was always my favourite sport. Although I bet on various sports, I believed AFL offered the most opportunities to gain an edge. After keenly following and investing in such markets for nearly a decade, I built up enough capital to pursue this passion professionally. I gain my edge in AFL markets by staying ahead of those who price the markets. Teams make changes every week due to injury, form, and structure. If you can figure out how changes to the line up will impact the role of players, you can often find that bookmakers have priced a player based off the role they had last week rather than the one that they will have this week, this presents value. I have a thorough understanding of how teams are likely to play each week. Some teams maintain a consistent style, while others adapt based on recent results, available players, or their upcoming opponents. By predicting whether a game will be high-pressure and restrictive or open and free-flowing, I can focus bets on the most favourable games. Through countless hours of research and years of experience, I can guarantee that my subscribers will only receive tips that I believe offer true value and will provide long-term profits. While not every bet will win, the accompanying analysis will show that each tip is well-justified and provides a long-term edge against the bookmakers.

Know Your AFL Betting Type
- The first and most common type of AFL betting is head-to-head betting, and you select a team that will win. The odds for this type of betting will vary depending on team strength and former matches.
- Line betting is the same as handicap betting; in an attempt to even the field, the underdog receives points while the favourite gives points away.
- Total betting is betting that depends on the total of the scores. If your team or the match scores the points over or under what you wagered your money on.
- Margin bets tend to be among the most popular AFL footy tipping options, and you can place bets on how much you think the team will win.
- Multi betting is when selections are bet together in an all-up or parlay. When betting multi-bets, all selections must win to ensure a collection. These are usually higher payouts as the odds of each leg are multiplied.
- Proposition betting or Prop betting includes a multitude of other bets, such as player markets, goals scored, individual player disposals, and more.
- Future betting is when you place your bets on future match results. For example, who you think will win the AFL season.
